I'm sorry if this is kinda intruding but how did you start this

I'm trying to do my first big space scene, but I'm not too sure how to start, I can do everything basially besides a good looking nebula, like this one, I under stand all the smudge shading, highlights etc, just starting nebulas like this is a bit harder
